Photo Saturday: Baby Chickens!!!!!!!!

July 7, 2012 By radmegan 1 Comment

Happy Photo Saturday! I recently posted about building a chicken coop for my mom. (Part 1 is here, Part 2 is here) This Photo Saturday, I am SO EXCITED to introduce her new feathered friends, the lucky residence of our handmade Chicken Mansion.
Clockwise from the top left we have, Fern, the Ameraucana (the Easter egger), Mathilda the Black Bard, Ramona the Rhode Island Red and Maisy, a second Bard Rock. They are all just a few weeks old so there will not be eggs for a while, but I cannot WAIT to head back to San Diego to visit the chickens my family!

They are adorable. We had chickens when I was growing up, I didn’t appreciate them quite like I should’ve.
