I’m just in the door after a long weekend at one of the most beautiful National Parks I’ve been to in a while. Yosemite National Park was home for the weekend while the mister and I celebrated two years wed!
We rode bicycles with mouths agape, marveling at all of the natural beauty (waterfalls, baby deer, and majestic mountains, Oh MY!) We swatted mosquitoes in vain. Itch, itch, scratch, scratch…. Roasted marshmallows, and lit a sparkler to celebrate our 4th of July nuptials.
It was a perfect weekend in the great outdoors and hopefully the best way for me to snap back into reality. After all of our travels abroad, I had quite a bit of trouble focusing on projects last week, but after a few lung-seizingly cold splashes in the high and fast waters of the Merced River, I feel focused, grounded, and ready to show the rest of this summer who’s boss!
Our 2nd year anniversary gift to each other was renewing our National Parks Annual Pass. We were talking about all of the National Parks we’ve visited together in the past couple of years, and are now making a to-do list of National Parks yet to visit! That’s my kind of to-do list! What are you favorite National Parks? Will you be visiting them this year? Hope you all had a fun and safe 4th of July weekend!!
