Hello Monday! I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I was fortunate enough to spend my Sunday teaching a group of crafters how to make needle-felted goldfish in jar aquariums at the Urban Craft Center. I was so impressed by the skill these first-time felters showed, that I had to share some pictures today! Everyone did an amazing job and my only regret was that we didn’t get a group shot with all of the crafters and their fish.
Thanks to the UCC for hosting this event, and thanks again to all who signed up for this class!

This looks like SUCH a fun project! Anytime I’ve taught craft classes, I was also so impressed with how well the projects turned out. When I complimented my students on their talent, they informed me that they had their awesome teacher to thank. So I think it’s safe to say you’re probably an amazing teacher if all the attendees at your class were successful!

It seems that every landowner with a spare field is digging a carp lake these days. With such a large population of anglers wishing to dip their carp tackle every weekend to use power pro spectra fiber and prepared to pay for the privilege it is not surprising. But is the trend for stocking artificially reared carp of record breaking proportions really good sport?
