Last night the Super Harvest Moon ushered in the first day of fall. However, Los Angeles has been bundled up for the last three months thanks to our pathetic excuse for a summer. I propose we skip “official fall” altogether, and move straight into winter.
Here’s why:

Hey! I found a pair of those boots in tan/blue at a thrift store last May for $10, in my size! I thought my brother was going to AK for work and gave them to him, but he didn’t so they’re mine!

Do you ever read McSweeney’s? There’s a super sweet and sad story called “Fox 8” about a fox that learns to read English and visits a shopping mall. And that’s neither here nor there, but there you go.
Oooh. I’ll have to look for that! I subscribed to The Believer for years! Love McSweeney’s. I’ll have to look for Fox 8. Am I wrong/obsessed or does that scarf also have a bit of a Fox Confessor look about it?
