Photo Saturday: Those Aren’t Watermelons

June 23, 2012 By radmegan 4 Comments

Happy Weekend Friends! Just wanted to share a couple of pictures of my watermelon pumpkin patch. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have shared my excitement as I planted wee little watermelon seedlings that my husband had started from seed for me. I was THRILLED about these seedlings, thinking they were from THIS incredible watermelon that the lovely Jessica Wilson gave me. Turns out, I planted three PUMPKIN seedlings. A little seed mix-up at work, says my hubby. Drat. No home-grown watermelons this year. But if anyone needs a pumpkin, I’ve got LOTS for ya! And yes that is a pool ladder I’m using as a trellis. Classy.

Oh no! It is, at least, a very nice looking pumpkin.

Wow, isn’t it too early for pumpkins already? Anyway, they are definitely photogenic 😀
